MarionLIFE Community Services Inc. currently has a job vacancy for a Business Incubator Facilitator.


An opportunity has become available at MarionLIFE to work on an exciting business incubator pilot program, supporting new Australians (especially those from refugee backgrounds) to start, build and/or grow their business ideas through tailored business mentoring. The well-networked, culturally competent and business smart person will work with participants to support them to shape their businesses and take practical steps towards reaching their goals, connect participants to the wider eco-system of business supports for long-term use, and resourcing with information over the program’s 3-month period.

MarionLIFE seeks a team member who has experience in, and understanding of, small business management, including some general knowledge across different spheres involved in a business (e.g. Marketing, legal, book keeping, WHS etc.) and has strong networking skills and enjoys building connections.

The position is casual for an average 4.5 hours per week, working under grant funding to shape and conduct the pilot program across a four-month period (including pre-program hours to prepare, hours for one-on-one mentoring sessions, group workshop hours and others to support evaluation and formation). There is flexibility of work hours within the four months. Some out-of-hours work may be required.
